  The final engagement in the Battle for Smolek series resulted in an overwhelming victory for the Jebrovian National Army. Watch out for the next chapter in the series this Spring.

• 12th November 2009

  A date has (finally) been set for the

  Op. Valkyrie Episode - 20th December

  . This will be the final game for 2009. It's a full Sunday game, 5hr running time minimum, and will most likely mark the end of the Smolek scenario. Hope to see you there.

• 21st October 2009

  Tonights game has been cancelled on account of a combination of rain and darkness making the gaming conditions potentially hazardous - scenario postponed - date to be announced

• 15th October 2009

  Intercepted radio traffic: "Mayday Mayday, this is ECAV Chopper Ingigo Lima nine-five. We have been downed en route from Smolek with injured on board, co-ordinates sent. Require emergency EVAC! Going radio silent, deactivating all beacons - OVER AND OUT"

• 9th October 2009

  NATO forces have succeeded in securing the town centre of Smolek after JNA forces were hammered by Mortar and Fast Air attacks. One wartime correspondant was killed in the action and another injured. More to follow.

  NATO are back on the offensive from Wednesday the 7th of October.

  International headlines:

  NATO accused of firing, unprovoked, into Jebrovia from Turkmenistan:

  Nato stand accused of firing at an unarmed civilian photographer who was on the Jebrovian side of the border from their forward military installation in Turkmenistan. Jebrovian allies outraged!

• 11th September 2009

  Wednesdays game started a little later than hoped which meant we were playing well into the dark. This however didn't hamper spirits and made for a very intense atmosphere despite limited shots being fired.
